Carnival Freedom is a Conquest-class cruise ship, the last to debut in the class. Balcony (8A)
This main design has been a pattern for CCL newbuild construction since the introduction of Carnival Destiny in 1996. Ocean Suites also include VIP check-in, walk-in closet and full bathroom. Ocean suites put the emphasis on ocean views from every angle, with lots of bright windows and a glass door that leads out onto the large balcony. Grand suites are extra-large, with big balconies, big bedrooms, vanities, and more. If you feel like a traditional interior stateroom is a bit boxy and claustrophobic, go with one of the interior staterooms that offer either a picture window or a porthole. Cribs in cruise cabins are provided complimentary (upon request). In Main Dining Rooms are provided complimentary high chairs and booster seats. All passenger cabin and suite mini-bars are stocked with premium liquors ($6-9,25), beer ($6,25), energy drinks ($5), soft soda/beverages ($2), bottled water ($3,75). Chic elegant dining rooms offer extensive menus as well as wine lists. Upscale dining is offered at the elegant steakhouse with an intimate ambiance. Dining room menus include vegetarian dishes, spa fare and other healthy choices. The ship also has a sushi bar, patisserie and complimentary 24/7 room service.
A Dreams Photography Studio was also added and upgrades were made to the ship’s spa. Guests will also notice updates to public areas across the ship. Originally debuted in 2021 as part of the Costa Cruises fleet (an Italy-based subsidiary of Carnival), the Firenze will set sail as a Carnival ship — with an Italian twist — in Spring 2024. Across Firenze, you’ll see touches of Italy; think cute cafe set-ups that look like they were picked up from a Florence sidewalk.
